Meet Brenda Barnes

 Author, Inspirational Speaker, and Psalmist, Brenda Barnes is the Founder of Brenda Barnes Ministries. Driven by a passion to inspire and equip women who have experienced the trauma of abortion or abuse, she has a passion for hurting women and has been a beacon of light for hundreds of women, as both a speaker and former Co-Pastor of Victory Temple Church, which she and her husband, Napolian Barnes, Sr. founded and pastored for 18 years.

 As a survivor who has personally experienced the same trauma as the women she serves, Brenda brings a practical and relevant message of hope and healing of emotional wounds and a message of freedom from guilt and shame to women everywhere. Annually, she hosts a Survivor’s Conference where hundreds of women are healed and set free from domestic violence and Cancer survivors are celebrated. Brenda is a Mentor and Counselor at Wiregrass Hope Center.

     As the founder of Family Menders, Brenda is an advocate for family restoration, as well as a resource for Single Moms who decide to choose life and keep their babies. Through her project,

Moms Wee Care, her ministry comes alongside young women to provide baby items and other essentials. Married to Napolian Barnes, Sr., her husband of 40+ years, Brenda resides in Dothan, Alabama and is the mother to two adult children, Napolian Barnes, Jr. and Precious Barnes Abbott, and Gamma to 2 beautiful grandchildren (and counting).
