Welcome to our site!

We're glad you're here! At Brenda Barnes Ministries, we're committed to helping hurting women. Founded by Brenda Barnes, who has a passion for helping hurting women, we are commited to bringing healing and support to women everywhere -- especially young moms without family support, and women dealing with the pain of abortion, abuse, or other forms of trauma.

We offer conferences and events, books, support groups, and resources to help women heal from their trauma and live free -- whether that involves providing baby supplies for single moms who've chosen to have their baby, but don't have the support they need, or whether it's providing prayer support and referrals to counselors or other professionals in our support group. We also offer a national prayer call that's open to the public. If you're looking for a safe place to heal, grow, and thrive, or if you're looking for ways to get involved and join our mission, we'd love to hear from you!

Meet Brenda Barnes

Author, Inspirational Speaker, and Psalmist, Brenda Barnes is the Founder of Brenda Barnes Ministries. Driven by a passion to inspire and equip women who have experienced the trauma of abortion or abuse, she has a passion for hurting women and has been a beacon of light for hundreds of women, as both a speaker and former Co-Pastor of Victory Temple Church, which she and her husband, Napolian Barnes, Sr. founded and pastored for 18 years.

As a survivor who has personally experienced the same trauma as the women she serves, Brenda brings a practical and relevant message of hope and healing of emotional wounds and a

message of freedom from guilt and shame to women everywhere. Annually, she hosts a Survivor’s Conference where hundreds of women are healed and set free from domestic violence and Cancer

survivors are celebrated.

“Truly a powerful story anyone can relate to no matter what the source of their guilt is. In this case it was an abortion, but it’s a story that’s relevant to everyone, regardless of whether it’s abortion-related or not. If you’re dealing with guilt and shame or know someone who is, this is a must read! Truly healing! .

Tracee Jones

“Her translucent story helps you find clarity and recognize guilt. This book encourages you to seek healing for not only yourself, but for all you come in contact with that are bound by guilt. Really incredible book!”

Stefanie Potts

To see her heart for helping others and her vulnerability by writing this book is nothing short of amazing. I know that many people will experience freedom and they will be touched by the anointing that’s on Brenda Barnes’ life, and in this book! ”

Napolian Barnes, Jr.

“ Thank you for your transparency as you share your testimony with the world! In spite of dealing with your own feelings of guilt, shame, pain of disappointment; even the abuse you have encountered, you were still able to speak healing into my life and the lives of so so many others..."

Linda Franklin

“I am so honored that I was the first to know your truth. You gave me strength in the face of defeat. I appreciated your candor that day sitting in Wendy’s when I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. Now you’re extending that same grace to others through this book. How awesome is that? You helped me become all I am today, and I’m eternally grateful. ”

Precious Abbott

“Through the author’s transparency in this book, hurting women will be healed of their pain, and set free of their shame and defeat. Chains will be broken, and when you’re done reading this book, you will be able to sing “I am free, praise the Lord, I’m free. No more chains are holding me.”
